This is Halloween

So perhaps its just the fact that Halloween is fast approaching, but I have been fascinated by dark films, literature, and art work lately.  Not an unusual occurrence as I commonly find myself withdrawing from my naturally girly style during the fall, trading in my summer brights for autumn darks. Putting away my copy of Pride and Prejudice for the intriguing horrors of Bleak House, I embrace the Halloween spirit. So in honor of this hallowed month of October, I dedicate this post to the dark feeling this month arouses.
